Top Tips:

  • • Prior to spiralizing, prepare your ingredients: peel if needed and ensure the ingredient is no longer than 10 cm and no wider than 5 cm. This will help create uniform spirals.
  • • When spiralizing large ingredients, you might end up with very long straight noodles which will not be easy to serve. These can be cut, preferably before cooking, to shorten them.
  • • To avoid having the leftover ingredient clocking the blade, ensure it is still secured to the pusher once you have finished spiralizing. If not, carefully remove the leftover from the blade before proceeding.
  • • Ingredients such as cucumber are essentially made of water which will be released if sitting for too long before serving. Pat vegetables dry with paper towels or a clean tea towel once spiralized and if required cook separately before adding to sauces to prevent them making the sauce watery.
