Mode Spotlight

With this mode you can heat milk without boiling it, evenly heat baby food, reheat chunky soups without breaking up the pieces, and so much more. This mode can be used to perfectly heat or reheat liquid or creamy foods.
With Warm up mode, simply set the temperature you want, and your Thermomix® will evenly heat up your food. No need to worry about selecting the right amount of time, or under or overheating your food.
-__ Temperature and speed can be set manually. The default warm up temperature is 70°C and speeds available are Soft speed, 1, or 2.__
Adjust the temperature according to the food you are warming. Suggested target temperatures:
• 37°C for baby foods
• 45°C-50°C/speed 2 for delicate egg-based sauces (e.g., Hollandaise, Béarnaise)
• __70°C __ at least for cooked leftovers
• 80°C-85°C for milk of any type, to prevent overboiling
• 90°C for cooked leftovers, only when heating 1 litre or more
Warming thicker sauces and stews: insert butterfly whisk for the most efficient stirring and heat distribution.
Heat thicker sauces on speeds 1 or 2 (Bolognese, béchamel): Add from 30 to 100 g liquid (broth, milk) if necessary.
Avoid using Warm Up mode with dry or too dense dishes (e.g. boiled rice or thick mashed potatoes) to avoid puréeing and achieve proper heating throughout.
