  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 shallots halved
  • ½ - 1 red chilli to taste, deseeded if desired
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 Tbsp tomato purée
  • 200 g water
  • ½ vegetable stock cube (for 0.5 l)
  • 250 g sweet potatoes peeled, diced (2-3 cm)
  • 100 g broccoli cut in florets (3-4 cm)
  • fine sea salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • fresh coriander leaves, roughly chopped, for garnishing
