  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 heaped tsp stock paste, homemade (optional)
    or 1 stock cube (for 0.5 l) (optional)
  • 350 g short grain rice (18-20 minute cooking time)
    or long grain rice (18-20 minute cooking time)
  • 1200 g water
  • 400 g mixed vegetables (e.g. broccoli or cauliflower in small florets, frozen peas, green beans or courgettes cut in pieces)
