Ingredients

  • 600 g chicken thigh fillets, with skin, cut in pieces (4 cm)
  • 30 g oyster sauce
  • 20 g dark soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 30 g sesame oil, dark (roasted)
  • 20 g fresh ginger, cut in thin slices
  • 15 dried chillies, rinsed, deseeded, soaked for 5 minutes and cut in 3 cm length
  • 10 g brown sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp cornflour (starch)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 50 g onions, cut in wedges
  • 50 g roasted cashew nuts (optional)
