Ingredients

  • 60 g Parmesan cheese, crust removed and cut into pieces (3 cm)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 60 - 80 g brown onion, cut into halves
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 150 g fresh Swiss brown mushrooms, cut into quarters
  • 400 g water
  • 200 g pouring (whipping) cream
  • 250 g skinless chicken thigh fillets, cut into pieces (3 cm) (see Tips)
  • 2 - 3 tsp Vegetable stock paste (see Tips)
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 200 g dried fusilli pasta or similar short dried pasta
  • 150 g fresh green beans, cut into pieces (2-3 cm) (optional)
  • 70 g cherry tomatoes, cut into halves (optional)
  • 2 sprigs fresh basil, leaves only, for garnishing
