Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 80 g day old bread, torn into pieces
  • 180 g brown onion, cut into quarters
  • 100 g carrots, cut into pieces (3 cm)
  • 1 celery stalk (approx. 50 g), cut into pieces (3 cm)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 - 2 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves only
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g pork mince
  • 250 g beef mince
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha® sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 100 g roasted whole red pepper strips (or roasted red pepper)
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled (see Tips)
  • 1250 g water
  • 200 g broccoli, cut into florets
  • 200 g carrots, cut into batons

Onion gravy

  • 380 g brown onion, cut into eighths
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp Chicken stock paste (see Tips)
  • 1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Sriracha® sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • ground black pepper, to taste
