  • 3 oz lacinato kale ribs removed, in pieces (½ in.)
  • 1 oz red onion
  • 1 oz olive oil
  • 1 oz unsweetened almond milk plain
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

  • 3 oz red onion in pieces
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ oz olive oil
  • 3 oz bbq sauce
  • 1 oz water
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder to taste
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper
  • 14 oz jackfruit, canned in brine rinsed, drained
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 3 oz red onions thinly sliced, to serve
