  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 oz yellow onion, halved
  • 6 oz carrots, cut into pieces (1in.)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes, dried, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ oz extra virgin olive oil
  • 29 oz canned diced tomatoes
  • 30 oz beef broth
  • 10 oz ravioli, fresh, store bought, e.g. cheese, beef, mushroom, 5-6 minutes cooking time (see Tip)
  • ¼ tsp salt, to taste
  • 2 - 3 oz fresh spinach
  • fresh basil leaves, to garnish
  • 2 oz grated Parmesan cheese
