  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder, to taste

  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper
  • 14 oz jackfruit, canned in brine, rinsed, drained
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 3 oz red onions, thinly sliced, to serve
