Ingredients

  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 700 g fresh spinach leaves
  • 20 g fresh root ginger, peeled, cut in round slices (2 mm)
  • 100 g onions, quartered
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 fresh red chilli, halved, deseeded (optional)
  • 20 g vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 50 g plum tomato, halved
  • 10 g fresh coriander, cut in pieces
  • 150 g water
  • 1 chicken stock cube (for 0.5 l), crumbled
    or 1 heaped tsp chicken stock paste, homemade, crumbled
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1000 g chicken breasts, skinless, diced (3 cm)
  • 30 g lemon juice
  • 50 g plain yoghurt, for serving
